Program Director

juliewebsiteOur Program Director is Julie Allerston. She is responsible for creating and running the afternoon programs at our various sites. Julie has been with us full time since January 2017. She has been working with children since she was a teenager in her church and at summer camps.

She graduated from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in Fredericton. Using her training in crafts she enjoys working hands-on, artistically creating with the children. Julie has worked as an Educator’s Assistant at several daycares in the Moncton area. Through that experience, she learned to plan and work with children from all walks of life and those with disabilities. In 2017, Julie graduated from the New Brunswick Community College with her Certificate in Early Childhood Education.

Over the years she has heard a calling from the Lord to work with children in urban areas of Moncton and Montreal as well as other low-income neighbourhoods. She enjoys being creative, learning with the children she is with every day, and seeing the power of God working in their lives and their families.
